Ortho-K
Clear vision while you sleep.
Specially designed contact lenses you wear overnight that reshape your cornea — wake up to clear vision all day, no glasses, no daytime contacts.
What's actually happening
Reshape the cornea. Wake up clear.
Ortho-K (orthokeratology) lenses are rigid gas-permeable contacts worn during sleep. They gently flatten the central cornea overnight, correcting nearsightedness so you don't need glasses or contacts during the day.
In kids, Ortho-K also slows myopia progression — which is why pediatricians and optometrists increasingly recommend it as a first-line option for nearsighted children.
Who Ortho-K helps
Sound like you?
Active kids
Sports, swimming, dance — daytime contacts and glasses get in the way.
Progressing myopia
Prescription has climbed every year. Ortho-K slows that.
Wants out of contacts
Daily contacts feel like a chore. Sleep in lenses, wake up clear.
Not a LASIK candidate
Too young for surgery, or your cornea is too thin. Ortho-K is reversible.
Dry eye sufferers
No daytime contacts = no contact-related dry eye.
Mild-to-moderate myopia
Best results for prescriptions up to -6.00 with mild astigmatism.
How it works
Sleep in lenses. Don't think about it again.
Every Ortho-K fit starts with corneal topography — a detailed map of your cornea's shape. From there, we design lenses custom to your eye, not off the shelf.
You wear them for 8 hours overnight. Remove in the morning. Most patients have functional vision by day 1, and full correction by day 7–10. The effect is reversible — stop wearing them, your cornea returns to its original shape.
"My son's prescription was climbing fast. Two years in Ortho-K, his vision is stable and he plays soccer without glasses. We wish we'd started sooner."
