This is general information about vision insurance benefits — your individual coverage may vary. Please contact us or book an exam and our team can help you understand your specific benefits.

What's typically covered
Annual exam. Annual eyewear allowance.
Most vision plans cover one comprehensive eye exam per year and one pair of glasses or a year's supply of contacts. Beyond the basics, plans often offer discounts on second pairs, premium lenses, and specialty contacts.
We'll tell you what's left in your benefit and how to use it before it resets at year end.
I've never had a practice break down my insurance for me before. They told me exactly what was covered, what wasn't, and what my out-of-pocket would be. Zero surprises.Verified Google Review

Frequently asked
Questions, answered.
What if my plan isn't listed?
Call us. We work with most plans even if they're not pinned to our site. If we're out of network, we'll provide a detailed receipt for you to submit for reimbursement.
Do you accept Medicare?
Yes for medical eye exams (diabetic eye exam, glaucoma management, macular degeneration). Routine vision exams are typically not covered by traditional Medicare — but most Medicare Advantage plans include vision benefits we can bill.
Can I use my FSA or HSA?
Absolutely. Eye exams, glasses, contacts, prescription sunglasses, and most eye-care purchases are FSA/HSA-eligible. We provide itemized receipts for easy reimbursement.
What's the difference between vision and medical insurance?
Vision plans cover routine wellness — annual exams, glasses, contacts. Medical insurance covers eye diseases and conditions — dry eye, infections, diabetic eye exam, glaucoma, retinal evaluation. We bill the right one based on why you're coming in.
Will my contacts be covered?
Most vision plans cover contacts OR glasses each year, not both. Some allow a partial allowance on each. We'll show you the exact math so you can choose what works best.
How do I check what's left in my benefit?
Call us or submit your info on our verification form. We can pull live benefit checks for most plans and tell you exactly what's remaining and when it resets.
